My Wonderful Summer Holiday

I had a wonderful holiday this summer. I went to Switzerland and had stayed with my Mom for a month.

My Mom took me to many places in Switzerland such as Lausanne, Bern, Zurich and some other remote cities near Italy. What impressed me most was the natural scenery and beauty. There are ships in sail, open flowers, songs of blackbirds, starry skies, blossom trees and green mountains and hills. Fresh air and white clouds are gifts from the heaven and smiles of the Earth.  Surrounded by the real beauty, all you need is the eyes to see it and the mood to understand it. This is the paradise that I wish I could stay for the rest of my life and never return.

I also had a wonderful experience of tasting all kinds of traditional Swiss food, including cheese fondue, cheese barbecue (reclette in French), Swiss kebabs and pizzas and sweet pancakes. Swiss food is just my type, and my Mom always regard me as a non-Chinese, for I always prefer western cuisine rather than a Chinese one.

Weather in Switzerland this summer is a bit cooler comparing with weather in Beijing. The best part is that I can fall into sleep without any difficulty, unlike I did in Beijing at hot summer nights.
