Thank You, My Teacher

I always remember Miss Song. She had been my teacher for 6 years during my primary school. I’ve learned a lot from her including Chinese knowledge, perseverance and ways to deal with the world. Among all my memories about her, one story has been kept in my mind for years. One day in my second year of school, I made a mistake that I did not finish my homework during a long holiday. But I did not tell the truth. Miss Song found out the truth, but she did not embarrass me before my classmates. After school, she called me to her office and talked to me patiently. She said that honesty is the best policy. You got to tell the truth and to do things right. That is the only right way for a boy to do with the world.
